TIA’s more than 900 members account for an estimated 90% of the annual U.S. domestic toy market.
U.S. DOMESTIC MARKETS


According to The NPD Group’s Retail Tracking Service, which represents approximately 80% of the U.S. toy retail market, the U.S. toy market grew to $20.36 billion in 2016. When factoring up to 100% for a total market figure, NPD estimates the U.S. market size for the total toy industry to be at about $26 billion.
Year-end sales data for 2016 shows a 5% increase in domestic toy sales from 2015.
